FAQs

"Why are there no set fees for your consultation calls?"

I want sleep support to be accessible for all families. I know firsthand how difficult it is to function as a parent when sleep deprived and I want to be able to offer that kind of help without having families break the bank.  With a "pay-what-you-can" system you are invited to pay based on your perceived value and how much you can afford.

"How long is each consultation call?"

Up to 1 hour.

"What's included in your consultation calls?"

Prior to the call you'll fill out a detailed form so that I can understand your baby's sleep situation entirely and be ready to help as soon as the consultation begins. The consultation itself is over phone. After the call I will send you an email with a PDF conveniently including all the notes from our call.

"Can you give me sleep support without sleep training?"

Of course! I always encourage parents to analyze their baby's sleep situation entirely and see if there is anything that can be fixed before sleep training. (Things like sleep environment, sleep associations, schedules / routines, feeds & nutrition, etc.)

"Is your sleep training method Cry-it-out?"

No, my sleep training methods are not CIO. There will definitely be crying involved when formally sleep training, but you will always be there to support your baby. When your baby is crying you can be confident knowing that they are not crying because they are scared, or feel alone or abandoned, but rather just because they are learning a new skill and it is frustrating.

"Do you have experience with twins or triplets?"

Yes! I love working with multiples.

"Is this a non profit organization?"

No. This is the work I do to help contribute to supporting my family.
