Frequently Asked Questions
What's included in the 1 Hr Consultation Calls?
Prior to the call you'll fill out a detailed form so that we can understand your baby's sleep situation entirely and be ready to help as soon as the consultation begins. The consultation itself is over phone. After the call we will send you an email with a PDF conveniently including all the notes from our call.
Is your sleep training approach CIO?
No, our sleep training methods are not CIO. There will definitely be crying involved when formally sleep training, but you will always be there to support your baby. When your baby is crying you can be confident knowing that they are not crying because they are scared, or feel alone or abandoned, but rather just because they are learning a new skill and that is frustrating.
Do you have experience with twins or triplets?
Yes, our sleep consultant, Anna, has experience and loves working with multiples.
Can you support us without sleep training?
Of course! We always encourage parents to analyze their baby's sleep situation entirely and see if there is anything that can be fixed before sleep training. (Things like sleep environment, sleep associations, schedules / routines, feeds & nutrition, etc.)
What kind of support is included in the Sleep Learning packages?
Our Sleep Learning packages include unlimited support for 2 full weeks. This means that you can contact your consultant at any time during the day over the course of the 2 weeks, either by text, email, or phone. Your consultant will also be available for 3 hours on the first night of sleep learning.
What is "Sleep Learning?"
We prefer to call it sleep Learning because Sleep Training has a lot of negative and untrue associations. Either way, it is the process of teaching your baby to fall asleep independently. Doing so often fixes any sleep issues that your baby may be experiencing. If it does not, Sleep Learning can also be used to teach your baby to fall back asleep if they wake up in the middle of the night.
